Hi visitor, thank you for visiting my new news blog (another!). Simply put:
- Nagaladupdates is an archive of recent news reports about the Naga
people and Nagaland (mine)
- Nagaladupdates is an archive of news reports filed
by other reporters (particularly of correspondents), besides those I filed.
- Nagaladupdates is an archive of news reports
that were killed for various reasons and never made it to publication (you know
Nagaland media!)
- Nagaladupdates is where you will find many
stories you will never read in your morning newspapers (keep checking in)
- Nagaladupdates is a catharsis for me–catharsis
from the frustrations of being a man who believes in truth, justice, and street
journalism, but have had to suffer the timidities and the little economic insecurities
of media organizations in this sorry north-eastern state.
- The stamp with my name at the bottom of each post is not to claim authorship—unless where explicitly mentioned. The stamp is to indicate who posted it, as a differentiation from other blog masters who'll be posting here occasionally.
You may visit my other news archiving site nagalandnews.wordpress.com. However, that Wordpress news blog contains only the headline reports that I filed during 2009-2011. The ones prior to that were lost to a computer crash in 2008 or so. There goes my bragging rights to breaking-news.
